Connecting with the speculative fiction novel, Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler -- H'or Futurism is a socially engaged theatrical performance project.

H'or Futurism is a dystopian mind fuck, where attendees are invited to enter the irresitable imagination of Black Sex Workers and the intersectional struggles of joy and resilence within the queer and migrant communties.
For the sculpture I was tasked to create a gigantic brain, a motherboard to power the space. For this brain I used my favorite materials of kanekalon hair, hasendraht or chicken wire, and plastic drain pipes.

The symbolism behind the use of these materials can be found in this interview. The scale of the project was nearly two meters in height and 1meter at its widest point. Along the walls of the 90 mil space in Berlin, wires intertwined with hair intertwined with plastic pipes scaled the hall way. Patronage had to duck under the giant brain in order to enter.
